I’m obsessed with this chair, in this color (from Thrive).
It kind of doesn’t go with anything else we have in the living room. In fact, it would clash ferociously with the current rug, but that doesn’t bother me one bit.
I can’t seem to ever feel settled with our set-up. I’m currently debating the cost of having a seamstress make us a couch cover versus just getting a new couch (fabric is expensive, yo). If we go the new-couch route, it likely won’t be until after the wedding. At that point, if we are waiting until after October, we may as well hold out for post-Christmas sales, right?
And, frankly, there’s nothing wrong with our couch in the first place. Nothing super-wrong, at least. I mean, it’s six years old and beige, so it has some wear. We had upholstery cleaners in, and they just kind of laughed at my suggestion that it could be made to look new.
They were kind of jerks, actually, but whatever.
The Internet is full of fancy chairs in fun colors and sometimes, it’s hard to see my own space measuring up.
