Will and I were very lucky to have a photobooth at our wedding. We hadn’t originally planned on it – it was a gift from our photographer to thank me for speaking about taxes at his meeting of entrepreneurial photographers. Pretty awesome.
The booth was set up during the reception so people could go in after dinner. They brought a box of props (hats, sunglasses, boas) and people went crazy for it.
The best part? The booth printed off two copies of every photostrip so we could keep one as a souvenir of our guest’s craziness. They came home with us in a small album, but I transferred them to a scrap-booking album for aesthetic reasons.
It was fun to group the photos together and arrange them on the pages.
I also got to see who enjoyed being in the photobooth the most (my mother-in-law) and who had the most fun with the props (my cousins).
Eventually, I plan to write people’s names on the pages (to give the book captions) but for now, I like the clean, blank look.
